Byoung-see Choi and Jun-kyeong Kim have designed the OneBike – an electric bicycle that is powered by kinetic energy. When the bicycle is set into it’s cradle, it functions as a stationary fitness machine, and every pedal rotation harnesses energy from your motion and converts it to electric power that is used to operate some of the digital readings the bike provides (user’s heart rate, total distance traveled, speed, etc.). The bicycle can be used outdoors as well – it folds out of stationary mode into super-cool cyclist mode in case you’re craving a change of scenery.
